Multilingual Scam Protection

Worldwide there are many Scams in various forms. Often these can be in languages other than English. Scamwatch has developed information and resources in 22 languages, to help people protect themselves and their loved ones from scammers.

The Little Book of Scams, an internationally recognised tool for consumers and small businesses to learn about scams, is available in 18 languages. Other translated resources include posters, audio recordings, and videos.

If someone you know needs to report a scam in their language, they can call the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) on 131 450 and tell them they’d like to report a scam to Scamwatch.

Visit scamwatch.gov.au/translated to use and share the information and resources.
